Grab your snacks and get your playlists ready, we’re going on a road trip!

Whether you've got a three-day weekend coming up that you want to take advantage of or you're looking for a getaway, we have some suggestions to make the most of your weekend trip.

1. College Station

College Station is an exciting tourist destination with great shopping and dining, lovely outdoor spaces, and all the draws of Texas A&M University.

2. Sam Houston National Forest

The Sam Houston National Forest, one of four National Forests in Texas, is located 50 miles north of Houston. The forest is administered together with the other three United States National Forests and two National Grasslands located entirely in Texas, from common offices in Lufkin, Texas.

3. Austin

Austin, Texas is the Live Music Capital of the World... and so much more. Explore the city's hotels, things to do, restaurant and nightlife scene, and museums.

4. San Antonio

San Antonio is a major city in south-central Texas with a rich colonial heritage. The Alamo, an 18th-century Spanish mission preserved as a museum, marks an infamous 1836 battle for Texan independence from Mexico. Following the San Antonio River, the miles-long River Walk is a landmark pedestrian promenade lined with cafes and shops. HemisFair Park’s 750-ft. Tower of the Americas overlooks the city.
